Oz Cole-Arnal started Alliance Against Poverty as Jubilee Wedge in 2008, to redistribute money from the “haves” to the “have very little”. But AAP is not just a sharing group, it’s a direct action group that advocates for free transit; fair, affordable and secure housing for everyone; and a Universal Basic Income.

Research and Engagement Coordinator at the Civic Hub has joined our team in July – Lia Forma has experience in supporting the work of underserved communities in kind and compassionate ways. She is currently completing the interviews with the partner group representatives and will lead the strategic conversations with the research and engagement Advisory Group and Prof Laura Pin from WLU.
